Lib Dem conference: Nick Clegg defends Help to Buy scheme

Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg has defended the government's housing policies, after deputy leader Vince Cable warned that its Help to Buy scheme could create another bubble.

Speaking to The Andrew Marr Show, the deputy prime minister said that, while parts of the UK were seeing a recovery in house prices, some areas were still struggling.

"You can't set a national policy... based only on what happens in Kensington and Chelsea", he added.
