Lib Dem conference: Paddy Ashdown on survey results
The Liberal Democrat Party "has done what it needs to do", said a former leader about polling over Nick Clegg's leadership.
Paddy Ashdown was asked about a BBC Sunday Politics/Comres survey, external which showed members would prefer Vince Cable to take over when Nick Clegg steps down from the top role.
And he was not surprised the survey showed twice as many would prefer a future coalition with Labour than the Conservatives.
