Daniel Pelka report: 'Lessons to be learnt', says May

Home Secretary Theresa May said the death of Daniel Pelka indicates that more attention needs to be given to the impact of domestic violence on children.

Chances were missed to help the four-year-old who was murdered by his mother and her partner after suffering "terrifying and dreadful" abuse, a report found.

Ms May said the report shows that there are "lessons to be learnt" about how information can be better shared between agencies.
