Disability welfare changes delayed by assessment process
Changes to the way welfare payments are paid to disabled people in England, Scotland and Wales have been delayed.
People will move from Disability Living Allowance to the Personal Independence Payment next week in only certain areas instead of the whole of Great Britain.
The shadow work and pensions secretary Rachel Reeves said it showed there was "chaos" in the department and claimed it would cause "huge anxiety" for recipients.
