PMQs: Harris and Cameron on married couples' tax breaks

A Labour MP thanked the prime minister "for saving my marriage", although he went on to poke fun at the government's tax allowances for married couples.

Tom Harris joked his wife had been filing divorce papers before hearing they would "be in line for a sweet £150-a-year tax break" if they stayed together.

David Cameron said the "tax system moved in mysterious ways" as Ed Miliband got married only after talk of the allowance.
