Pensioners' Parliament call from Peter Bottomley MP

Britain has a youth parliament and a Conservative MP said the model should be used to represent the one-in-six who are pensioners.

Peter Bottomley reckoned "the government would gain, the country would gain" and he looked at a Pensioners' Parliament in Northern Ireland and said he wants a similar one UK-wide.

The former government minister said: "What do we want? Pensioners' Parliament? When do we want it? Now, please."
