Miller expenses 'damaging' Conservatives says Davies

The fallout from the Maria Miller expenses story was "extremely damaging" both for the Conservative Party and the government, said a Tory MP.

Philip Davies said the decision over whether or not she should resign was a matter for the culture secretary, but added: "The sooner the matter is resolved the better,"
