Lib Dem conference: Ashdown's hate for Tories and Labour
A former Liberal Democrat leader has described how he has continued to hate both the Labour and Conservative parties.
Lord Ashdown said he had hated the Tories all of this life, while he felt the same for Labour as it had "wrecked the economy and destroyed jobs".
He told Andrew Neil: "I am a Liberal, Andrew, have you spotted that before now? I don't like either of the other two."
