Autumn Statement: Balls slams Osborne on growth
George Osborne will continue "to miss his deficit targets, year after year" unless he takes "decisive action to sustain growth [and] get living standards rising", the shadow chancellor has said.
Responding to Mr Osborne's Autumn Statement, Ed Balls told MPs that the chancellor's figures showed growth had been revised down over a number of years.
"We need a real plan for good jobs and more balanced growth", he said.
