Strengthen data powers, says Theresa May
Legislation must be passed to allow the security services greater powers to access communications data, the Home Secretary has said.
Theresa May was addressing MPs in the Commons about the deaths of 17 people during three days of terror attacks in Paris.
She also said the type of military assault weapons used to kill the Charlie Hebdo victims were "extremely uncommon" in the UK, but said the EU must step up its efforts to stop weapons smuggling.
