Budget 2015: Osborne announces Isa and help-to-buy plan
The chancellor listed "four major new steps" in his Budget to encourage people to save, saying they should have freedom to choose how to use their savings.
They included changes to personal savings allowances, allowing people to move money in and out of Isas without losing their tax-free contribution, and a "help to buy" Isa to help future homeowners save for a deposit.
The announcements came at the end of his 58-minute speech which he described as a "Budget for Britain - the comeback country".
