NI secretary lists his benefits of new Stormont deal
The Northern Ireland secretary has set out his four "key elements" in the package of measures to restore power sharing at Stormont.
Chris Heaton-Harris said it "further protects" NI's place within the UK, it protects and strengthens the UK internal market, it recognises connections across the UK with a new east-west council, and it helps put NI finances on a “sustainable footing”.
He was addressing the Commons minutes after the Westminster government published a deal aiming at restoring power sharing.
