Scottish independence: Salmond calls Darling 'one-trick pony'

Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond and Better Together head Alistair Darling have gone head-to-head in a live TV debate on independence.

The two politicians clashed on issues including currency, the NHS and North Sea oil and gas estimates.

It is the second time Mr Salmond and Mr Darling have met face-to-face for a televised referendum debate.

Mr Darling repeatedly pressed the First Minister on the issue of currency, at one point prompting Mr Salmond to refer to his opponent as a "one-trick pony".
