Brecon Beacons' stargazing night in bid for dark sky title
With light pollution on the increase, there are few places across Wales where a truly dark sky can be enjoyed.
And the Brecon Beacons' National Park is trying to achieve the official status of International Dark Sky Reserve.
It is hoped the title, if it wins, will create new opportunities for tourism and the area's economy.
As part of the project, the village of Talybont-on-Usk turned off their lights for a community stargazing evening.
