Brecon Beacons National Park wins dark sky status

The night sky above the Brecon Beacons National Park is granted special protection after becoming Wales' first international dark sky reserve.

It is only the fifth destination in the world to be given that status, which recognises areas that have low light pollution and exceptional starry nights.
