Gleision deaths: Son of miner knew 'there was no chance'

The son of one of the four men who died when a mine flooded in the Swansea Valley has told a court he knew straight away there was no chance of them surviving.

Andrew Daniel Giles was working on the surface when the disaster happened at the Gleision colliery more than two years ago.

Mine manager Malcolm Fyfield and the mine's owners MNS deny manslaughter charges. The trial continues.
