'Help young Muslims before radicalisation' says charity

A charity working with Muslim families in south Wales has said more needs to be done to prevent the radicalisation of youngsters.

Shereen Williams, from the Henna Foundation, said it is too late to help people once they have left Wales to fight.

Her comments come as new counter-terrorism laws have been unveiled by Prime Minister David Cameron, which are aimed at stopping British extremists travelling to Syria and Iraq to fight with Islamic State.

Measures include seizing suspects' passports and stopping those who have been with Islamic State fighters from returning to Britain.
