Cuts prompt exams results fall fear in Wales

Head teachers are warning cuts to their budgets mean schools could soon be facing severe financial hardship, which could result in lower standards.

According to the Association of Schools and College Leaders, the cuts could affect staffing numbers and put at risk improvements at GCSE and A-level.

The Welsh government says it has increased school funding by 34% in real terms over the past 15 years.
