Pembrokeshire port boosted by cruise ship calls

A Pembrokeshire port has welcomed the first of 5,000 international visitors this summer.

Nineteen cruise ships are due to dock in Fishguard between May and September, the first being Corinthian on Monday.

Around 100 American passengers were welcomed into port and taken on sightseeing tours of Fishguard and St Davids.

Fishguard received just seven cruise calls in 2015 and Dennis O'Connor from Refreshing North Pembrokeshire explains why there has been an increase this year.
