Roald Dahl: City of the Unexpected to 'transform' Cardiff

Celebrations to mark 100 years since the birth of children's author Roald Dahl will see Cardiff "transformed" and taken over by his characters.

Nigel Jamieson, director of the City of the Unexpected, said those behind the events had tried to imagine what the writer himself would want to see.

Events at the weekend will include a procession, demonstrations and readings across the city centre.
