Hay Festival 'much the same' 30 years on

The Hay Festival in Powys is gearing up to mark its 30th anniversary in May with its director Peter Florence saying much is the same as when it started.

The event is asking readers to complete a list of 30 essential reads from the last three decades.

Mr Florence told BBC Wales arts and media correspondent Huw Thomas how the spirit of the festival remained essentially the same.
