Low river pollution prosecutions in Wales 'expected'

The lack of river pollution prosecutions in Wales is to be expected, a regulator has said.

While there have been almost 3,000 pollution incidents in the past three years, only 38 prosecutions have taken place.

Euros Jones from Natural Resources Wales said there were different levels of enforcement taking place to deal with the incidents.
