Dolgellau driver led police on 100mph chase and rammed car
These were the scenes as a driver led police on a 100mph chase - at times with a stinger swinging from his van.
Driver Rowland Humphreys was jailed after the pursuit, during which he backed into a police car to flee a narrow lane, Caernarfon Crown Court heard.
During the five-mile pursuit, the 45-year-old, of Lombard Street, Dolgellau, Gwynedd, rammed a police vehicle and overtook on bends.
The stinger was used to burst his van's tyres but did not stop him.
In February, Humphreys admitted dangerous driving and breaching a restraining order.
He was jailed on Monday for two years by Judge Nicola Saffman, who also imposed a three-year driving ban and ordered Humphreys to taken an extended test.
The restraining order was extended by five years.
