Trump victory is an uprising like Brexit, UKIP's Hamilton says

UKIP's leader in the Welsh Assembly has said Donald Trump's election as US president is "an uprising against the establishment" just like the vote for Brexit.

The real estate mogul and former reality TV star has surprised many by beating Hillary Clinton in the election to take the White House back for the Republicans after eight years of Democrat rule.

Neil Hamilton likened Mr Trump's achievement to that of Nigel Farage as a "catalyst" for the Leave camp's victory in the EU referendum.
