Queen's Baton Relay: Namibian cyclists gearing up for Games

As the Namibian road cycling team prepare for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, BBC reporter Mark Beaumont discovered a revival for the sport in the country.

Following the establishment of an after school programme in Windhoek, which helps to encourage sports, an elite cycling group have been competing at both domestic and international level.

The P.A.Y (Physically Active Youth) program was created in 2007 and works with young people in the Namibian capital.

Mark is following the Queen's Baton Relay and met team members Jojoe Hamunyela and Fiffy Kashululu who hope represent their country at the Games.

Olympic and Commonwealth road cyclist Dan Craven is the team captain of the group, and has been helping to develop the sport in Namibia, external.

The Queen's Baton Relay is continuing its journey around the Commonwealth nations and territories ahead of the Games in Glasgow this Summer.
