Libya leader Col Gaddafi: Benghazi is with me

Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi has insisted that most people in the rebel stronghold of Benghazi remain loyal to him.

His comments came just hours before the UN adopted a resolution that supports a no-fly zone over Libya and "all necessary measures" to protect civilians short of an invasion. His regime later announced a ceasefire.

Rebel forces reacted with joy to news of the resolution, but a government spokesman condemned UN "aggression".
