Libya rebels: Gaddafi behind Benghazi blast

A spokesman for Libyan rebels in Benghazi has blamed forces loyal to Col Muammar Gaddafi for causing a large explosion near a hotel in the east of the town.

Jalal il Gallal, who represents the National Transitional Council said it was a "cowardly act" which showed "complete disregard for human life".
