Fight against apartheid remembered as Zuma visits Soweto

As South Africans hope and pray for the recovery of Nelson Mandela, President Jacob Zuma has been visiting the township of Soweto, an iconic place in the struggle against apartheid.

A day after visiting the 94-year-old in hospital, Mr Zuma laid a wreath to mark the deaths of young people who died fighting minority white rule.

Karen Allen reports.
