Political activists freed after Democratic Republic of Congo arrest

Political activists from Burkina Faso and Senegal, who were detained for four days in the Democratic Republic of Congo, are expected to be repatriated on Thursday.

They were expelled from the DRC after taking part in workshops on youth and democracy.

The government says they were suspected of posing a threat to state security.

Their detention has prompted international criticism.

The BBC's Maud Jullien reports.
