Marikana mine massacre: 'Police lied to inquiry'

In August 2012, 34 striking miners were shot dead when police opened fire at the Marikana platinum mine in South Africa.

A year long commission of inquiry followed - the report was given to President Zuma in March and the country awaits its public release.
