Street workout to get South African children fit

Muscle-ups, front lever, and the human flag are exercises that you will rarely see in the gym.

They are extreme body weight only movements performed by competitors in the growing sport of street workout.

The sport can be practised anywhere, at any time and for free.

Smith Mangena, from Soweto in South Africa, was the first African to compete in the world championships.

He is now taking the sport back into the townships to help keep young people healthy in a nation with one of the highest obesity rates in the world.
