The economic migrants leaving Africa for a better life

Not all of the migrants arriving in Europe are fleeing from war and violence in the Middle East, some are simply looking for work, opportunities and better living conditions.

Many economic migrants come from Africa, and the city of Agadez in Niger is a major junction en route to Europe.

From Agadez, migrants travel to Libya and further into Europe.
