Burundi crisis: 'Deadly bursts of gunfire' in Bujumbura
Burundi has descended into violence since President Pierre Nkurunziza decided in April he would run for a third term. He went on to win a controversial election in July.
Both pro-government and opposition factions have resorted to reprisal killings.
It has led the United Nations to accuse both the Burundian government and the opposition of trying to divide the country along ethnic lines.
