The Kenyan girls who fled their families to escape FGM

At least 200 million girls and women worldwide have undergone female genital mutilation, a practice which is now described by the UN as child abuse.

Kenya is one of the countries most affected one in five between the ages of 14 and 49 have been cut.

The BBC's Tulip Mazumdar visited the country to see what is being done to try and eradicate the practice.
