BBC correspondent visits Burmese capital

Soe Win Than of the BBC's Burmese Service has accompanied UK Foreign Secretary William Hague on a visit to the capital of Burma, Naypyidaw, and spoken about his impressions of the city.

He said there were very few people or traffic on the streets and described the capital as "eerie".

The city is about 460km (300 miles) north of the old capital, Rangoon.
