Thai protesters leave army HQ peacefully

Anti-government protesters who forced their way into the army headquarters in Bangkok have left peacefully.

Hundreds of people entered the building after breaking open a gate, held a rally in the compound asking for the army's help in their campaign and withdrew two hours later without confrontation.

Jonah Fisher reports from the scene of the demonstration in Bangkok where he said army officers had looked on with "some bemusement."
