Japan volcano eruption kills at least one and traps others

Japan's second highest volcano erupted on Saturday for the first time in seven years trapping dozens of hikers on the mountain top.

Mount Ontake exploded in to life at around mid-day sending a huge plume of grey ash in to the sky.

Hundreds of hikers were thought to be on the mountain as the eruption began.
