Watch: China warship steers near US Navy in Taiwan Strait
The US Navy says one of its destroyers was forced to slow down after a Chinese warship cut in front of it in the Taiwan Strait on Saturday. The vessels came within 137m of one another in a manoeuvre that’s been described as “unsafe”. The US and Canadian navies were conducting a joint exercise in the strait.
