How long will deadly India heatwave continue?

A deadly heatwave in India is showing no sign of easing. More than five hundred people have been killed and that figure is rising.

With temperatures reaching 48 C (118F), authorities are urging people to stay indoors and drink plenty of water.

Most of the deaths are in the southern states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
