Peter Greste's parents: Al-Jazeera retrial in Egypt 'a good outcome'

The decision to re-try three al-Jazeera journalists imprisoned in Egypt for over a year has been cautiously welcomed by the father of one of the men.

Juris Greste told Australia's ABC network that despite his disappointment that his son Peter had not been released on bail, the result was overall "a good outcome".

Peter Greste and his colleagues Mohamed Fahmy and Baher Mohamed deny the charges of spreading false news.
