Tony Abbott: 'I will be a candidate... and expect to win'

Australian PM Tony Abbott has said he intends to "stand and win" after being challenged for the leadership of the governing Liberal Party by Malcolm Turnbull.

Mr Turnbull, who was previously leader of the Liberals, said his party could not win the next election with Mr Abbott at the helm.

Mr Abbott has been under pressure after struggling to push promised reforms through parliament.
