Spanish Civil War's British roll call released

The roll call of British citizens who fought in the Spanish Civil War has been released by the National Archives to mark the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of the war.

The British government opposed intervention, but many, including writer George Orwell, were driven to go and fight in the conflict.
