Greece: President in talks with "neo-Nazis"

Greek President Karolos Papoulias has held talks with leaders of the country's smaller parties on forming a coalition in order to avert new elections.

They included a meeting at the presidential palace in Athens with Nikolaos Michaloliakos of the far-right party, Golden Dawn.

The BBC's Mark Lowen told the BBC Today programme's John Humphreys why it was an ''astonishing'' encounter.
