Moscow basks in record heatwave

Muscovites are experiencing an early summer, with temperatures surging to record-breaking highs.

Some parts of Moscow saw temperatures reach 83.66F (28.7C) on Tuesday, with the nearest temperature at this time of year last seen in 1996.

It comes after a cold and harsh winter. Forecasters suggest the heatwave will last until the end of the week.
