Turkey protests: PM says he serves 100% of country

The Turkish prime minister has been criticised to his face by a senior European Union official who said the police's harsh crackdown on protesters in the last week needed a "swift and transparent" investigation.

But Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his government had already expressed regret for the police intervention during demonstrations and showed no sign of giving in to the protesters.
