Ukraine clashes: Soldiers 'surrender to protesters' in Lviv

Video footage has emerged purporting to show security forces surrendering to anti-government protesters in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv.

Government buildings were also stormed by protesters, including the local branch of the Interior Ministry, army barracks and the city's prosecutor's office.

However, the BBC Russia's Olga Ivshina said the soldiers in the footage could be conscripts who were compelled to enlist in national service, but support the protesters.
