Painful legacy of Crimea's new identity as Russia

Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, has signed a law formalising Russia's takeover of Crimea from Ukraine, despite fresh sanctions from the EU and the US.

Meanwhile in Crimea, Russian troops have continued their takeover of Ukrainian military bases.

Families must decide whether to leave or to stay, whilst many Ukrainian troops are packing up and leaving, after becoming foreign forces in what used to be their own territory.
