Ukraine must 'stop war on own people'

The Ukrainian government must stop a "war with its own people", the Russian Ambassador to the UN has stated.

Vitaly Churkin was addressing an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council called by Russia.

Mr Churkin denied that the crisis in Ukraine was being orchestrated by Moscow.
