Ukraine crisis: Russia to send new aid convoy

Russia's foreign minister has confirmed that Moscow will send another aid convoy to eastern Ukraine in the next few days.

Sergei Lavrov said the humanitarian situation in the rebel-held areas was deteriorating and desperate.

Ukraine did not authorise the first convoy, which returned to Russia at the weekend, fearing it carried military equipment for pro-Russia separatists.
