Mikhail Gorbachev warns of 'new Cold War'

Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev has warned that the world "is on the brink of a new Cold War", as he spoke at an event to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Mr Gorbachev described recent violence in the Middle East and Europe, and the breakdown in communications between major world powers as "of enormous concern".
